Cookie policy

This page explains which cookies and similar tools this website (the “Site”) uses, what they are for, and how you can choose which ones to accept. It is provided under art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of June 30, 2003 (“Privacy Code”), in line with the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) of June 10, 2021. It complements thePrivacy policy.

1. Data controller

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device and reads again on later visits. Other tools work in a similar way, such as the browser’s local storage: on this page we call them all “cookies”.

“First-party” cookies are set by the Site and “third-party” cookies by external services; “session” cookies are deleted when you close the browser and “persistent” cookies remain until the stated expiry.

3. Technical cookies

They make the Site work and provide the services you ask for, such as the cart, payment and access to your account. By law they do not require consent (art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code) and are always active. If you block them in your browser, the cart and checkout may not work.

Payment services

To show you the payment buttons and handle the transaction securely, on the product pages, in the cart and at checkout the Site loads the services of the payment providers. These may set their own cookies, needed for payment and fraud prevention, which they process as independent controllers under their own policies:

  • PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., for PayPal payments: PayPal cookie statement;
  • Stripe, for card payments through WooPayments, when enabled: cookies __stripe_mid (1 year) and __stripe_sid (30 minutes), Stripe cookie policy.

4. Statistics tools (only with your consent)

If you choose “Accept” in the banner, we activate two tools that help us understand how the Site is used and improve it. They are installed on the Site and managed directly by us: the data stays on the Site’s servers, is not shared with third parties and is not used to show you advertising.

If you refuse, these tools are not loaded and your visits and orders are not included in the statistics. If you withdraw consent given earlier, we disable them and delete their cookies from your browser.

5. How you choose and how to change your mind

On your first visit a banner appears with two equally prominent buttons, “Accept” and “Reject”, and an X. If you close the banner with the X, you continue browsing with technical cookies only, as if you had refused. Scrolling the page or continuing to browse does not count as consent.

We remember your choice for 6 months with the felings_consent cookie; after this period, or earlier if the tools described here change, we ask you again.

You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before.

You can also manage or delete cookies from your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.

6. Legal bases and retention

Technical cookies are set under art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code; the related data is processed to perform the contract or the steps you request (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and for our legitimate interest in the operation and security of the Site (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The statistics tools are based on your consent (art. 122 of the Privacy Code and art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Statistical data is kept for no longer than 24 months from collection, then deleted or anonymized.

The data is processed electronically, including by the Site’s hosting provider, acting as data processor. PayPal and Stripe may transfer data outside the European Union with the safeguards provided by art. 44 ff. GDPR, as stated in their policies.

7. Your rights

At any time you can request access to your data, its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing (arts. 15–22 GDPR), by writing to customercare@felings.com. If you believe the processing breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it). You will find more details in thePrivacy policy.

8. Updates

We update this page when the cookies or tools used by the Site change; the date at the top shows the last change. If the tools that require consent change, we ask you again.
